BASILE – The Oberlin Tigers scored on seven of their first eight possessions and rushed for 557 yards on 43 carries as they blew past the Basile Bearcats 48-12 in the Class 1A quarterfinals Friday
The Basile High Bearcat defense led by ( ) (45) takes down a Haynesville running back in their 28-27 second round playoff win over the Golden Tornado this past Friday. Basile will now take on the Oberlin Tigers at home in the Class 1A quarterfinals tomorrow night. Oberlin defeated Basile 41-13 in the last game of the regular season this year.
