VILLE PLATTE – Despite leading by two at the half, the Ville Platte Lady Bulldogs failed in their attempt to hold off the Avoyelles Charter Lady Vikings in a 50-40 loss this past Friday night.

This past Friday and Saturday, the Pine Prairie Lady Panthers pushed their overall record to 9-3 with a pair of wins over Plainview (62-58) and JS Clark (56-34).
Sacred Heart’s Keegan McIntosh (14) goes up hard to secure a lay-up, while a Bunkie High defender tries to stop him. Sacred Heart held off a furious third quarter rally by the Panthers to secure a 53-27 win in a non-district contest held Tuesday night. The Trojans are now 7-8 on the season.
